KZN Builders Association is a full-service construction company in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. We offer home renovations, artisanal work (electrical, plumbing, steel, aluminium, painting and tiling) and construction work such as new buildings, retaining walls, boundary walls and driveways — a complete "from the ground up" building solution.

Our head office is in Mount Edgecombe, Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal. From there we serve clients across Durban and the wider KZN region.

Yes. KZN Builders Association is a Level 1 B-BBEE Contributor and is 100% Black female owned.

Yes. Our team includes certified engineers and fully certified, skilled artisans. Electrical work is completed with a Certificate of Compliance (COC) and plumbing and geyser work is done with the required certifications.

We work throughout KwaZulu-Natal, including Durban, Umhlanga, Mount Edgecombe, Ballito, Pinetown, Westville and Hillcrest. If your area is not listed, contact us and we will confirm whether we can help.

Yes. We handle everything from a single-room renovation or general repair to a complete construction project such as a new building built to an approved plan.

Yes. Our electrical work is carried out with a Certificate of Compliance (COC).

Yes. We do plumbing and geyser work, completed with the required certifications.

Yes. Our artisanal services include steel work and fabrication (for example carports and gates), aluminium work, and garage door supply and installation.

Yes. Building plans and approvals are part of our home renovation services, so we can help you get the paperwork in place before building starts.

Yes. We do renovations including tiling, flooring (tiles, laminate and hardwood), ceilings, drywalls and partitioning. You can see completed bathroom renovations in our project gallery.

Yes. We construct new buildings according to your approved building plan, and can also help with building plans and approvals.

Yes. We construct retaining walls, boundary walls and driveways, and carry out structural repairs and strengthening.

The cost depends on the size of the project, the materials and the work involved, so we do not publish fixed prices. Tell us about your project and we will give you a free, no-obligation quote.

Timelines depend on the scope of the work. We agree on a timeline with you before work starts and we strive to complete every project within the agreed time.

Include the type of work you need, where the property is, whether it is residential or commercial, when you would like to start and a description of the project, such as sizes, materials and any plans you already have. The more detail you give, the more accurate the quote.

We are open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 and on Saturday from 09:00 to 12:00.
